Transformation Program Manager - Global Insurer

  • Delivery of change and large / high impact projects from inception to completion that are aligned with global and in-country strategies

  • Creation of high-quality strategy and business case documentation in English and Japanese by working directly for the Head of Operations and Head of Transformation

  • Lead timely reporting and insight into project issues and developments


  • Drive project and program delivery from inception to completion with a focus on delivering tangible business benefits

  • Directly support Head of Transformation and Head of Operations with regards to all strategic change initiatives

  • Prepare and own high-quality documentation in English and Japanese to describe transformation strategies and project business cases

  • Successfully manage the relationship between the project / program and key business stakeholders, utilizing Stakeholder Analysis where appropriate

  • Act as the control point for tracking, monitoring and actively managing issues, mitigating risks, and making the project / program successful against an agreed, base-lined remit & project charter

  • Drive and own dependencies and the interfaces between projects. Ensure these are tracked to plan, mitigated or appropriate escalations raised

  • Lead regular workstream / program / steering meetings, ensuring these are documented and that any resulting actions are actively followed up

Skills & Experience:

  • Fluent in Japanese and English

  • 5-10 years of relevant project management and industry experience (Consulting experience a plus)

  • A proven track record in delivering change and transformation projects and their associated benefits to an agreed timeline budget and quality

  • Exceptional documentation and presentation skills in English and Japanese at all levels (MS PowerPoint and MS Excel expert)

  • Experienced in translating ambiguous project goals /objectives into clear deliverables

  • Highly people-oriented with management skills and experience of direction setting and ability to work across organizational boundaries

  • Strong analytical and facilitation skills for the resolution of business problems and delivery of business change

  • Capable of building strong, meaningful relationships with internal and external parties alike

  • Willingness to learn new skills and methodologies

  • Bachelor’s degree or Higher
