Role Summary:

Lead Data Scientist (Medical Affairs / Real World Data)

Core Mission: Lead observational and database research using Real World Data (RWD) and Epidemiological methods to generate scientific evidence and define target populations.
Key Responsibilities: Design epidemiological studies, manage vendors and research quality, and lead the interpretation and publication of scientific data. A major focus is also actively integrating AI and Generative AI into regular data science workflows.
Ideal Profile: A hybrid expert with a Master’s/PhD in Public Health, Epidemiology, or Data Science who possesses both scientific rigor and advanced technical AI skills.
Language: Fluent Japanese (for local stakeholder management) and Business English (for global research discussions).
