Head of Big Data& Analytics - FMCG's

Roles:

  1. Financially and operationally run a sustainable big data and analytics operation, and balance system availability and cost control.

  2. Engage business stakeholders and ensure their visibility needs are met through the use of data.

  3. Drive the development and usage of the big data platform DDP (Data Discovery Platform).

  4. Define and champion data governance and technology strategy surrounding big data.

  5. People management and exercising leadership of a total team size of up to 17~20 people, and pool of external contractors.

Skills Required:

  • Strong Knowledge of HANA DB

  • Experience in severals of

    • data visualization/utilization Tools e.g MarkLogic based data lake, Tableau

    • Machine learning platforms e.g Jupyter Note and H2O.ai

  • Strong stakeholder management skills and high energy level.

  • Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal form

  • Business level in Japanese and English

  • Data governance definition and implementation.

  • Knowledge and or certification of data science, decision science, advanced computing architecture such as quantum computing is not required but is a plus.

  • Candidate does not need to be from FMCG background, but should ideally be from an industry that is familiar with physical and perishable products.
