The Practice Group is organized into five practices either serving specific financial services segments (Retail and Business Banking, Corporate and Institutional Banking, and Insurance) or providing functional expertise across these segments (Digital, and Finance and Risk).
We are searching for multiple highly qualified EM/ Principal candidates, for strategy consulting roles working broadly across financial services, or aligned with the below practices:

Engagement Manager - Key Responsibilities:

Managing the execution of individual project modules. This typically includes developing hypotheses, managing data collection, model creation and analyses, conducting primary and secondary research, creatively tackling information limitations, and surfacing insights.
Supporting our Partner group in project delivery through accurate and high quality case execution
Owning and developing executive client relationships, presenting to a wide range of audiences, and working day-to-day with clients and other stakeholders.
Managing and developing the capabilities of junior consulting staff.
Principal – Additional Responsibilities
Oversight of large or multiple client engagements – work planning, communications, process and client management
Lead, day-to-day point-person for junior and senior-level client interactions
Guidance to team members in structuring analysis modules and client communications
Collaboration with Partners in production and delivery of major presentations
Effectively representing the respective Practice and firm to support business development and generate new client or project opportunities
Sharing team knowledge and best practices across the firm
Qualifications / Skills:
A minimum of 6-8 years of relevant experience, ideally with a top-tier strategy consulting firm or project-based, team-oriented environments. Additional experience required to qualify for Principal (7-10 years) roles.
Track record of leading and managing teams or work streams and delivering against tight deadlines in fast paced and demanding environments
Strong background in strategic problem solving with demonstrable analytical skills.
Financial services industry knowledge, breadth across or depth within one of our practice areas is preferred, and required at more senior levels

Strong background in strategic problem solving with demonstrable analytical skills
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Undergraduate or advanced degree from a top academic program
Willingness to travel
Fluency in Japanese
